LBD Project FAQ

Do I have to attend orientation?  It is strongly recommended that you attend the orientation on Saturday, September 17. You will get a full rundown of the challenge expectations, meet your coaches and teammates. We will go over homework assignments, grocery lists and meal plans, and make appointments for your complimentary meeting with one of our personal trainers. Any questions you may have can be answered at the orientation.

What happens if I miss orientation?  The orientation is scheduled one week prior to the challenge start date, so we will have a full week to bring you up to speed if you can’t make it.  Your coach will be in constant communication with you.

Do I have to follow the meal plan?  The meal plan is designed to provide guidance and education around what clean eating really is. You cannot out-train a bad diet. If you want to see a true transformation, we strongly encourage you to follow the meal plan.

Is the meal plan safe for diabetics?  Yes, the meal plan is safe for diabetics with a glucose level over 35. Please see your doctor before starting. You can also request guidance from one of our personal trainers along the way.

Is the meal plan suitable for vegetarians?  The LBD meal plan is not designed for vegetarians, but can be modified. We recommend you take advantage of the opportunity to speak with one of our personal trainers to help you modify the meal plan effectively. This should be done one week prior to the challenge start date.

How many times a week do I have to work out?  We ask that you work out a minimum of 3 days per week and optimally 5 to 6 days a week. To receive the transformation you seek, working out is as critical to your success as the meal plan. We do understand that life happens, and we will provide bonus home workouts for those times that you just cannot make it into the club. Remember, doing something is almost always better than doing nothing! We are here to help. If you need options, contact us anytime.

What is Small Group Training?   Small group training is part of our “Active” Membership and is included with your registration fee for the LBD Project. These workouts are held in our training center in small groups of 4 to 8 people. Your workout will be presented by one of our personal trainers or coaches and will be designed according to your goals, nutritional guidance and regular check-ins from your trainer or coach.

How do I sign up for Small Group Training?  The first step is to set up an assessment/meeting with a personal trainer. This appointment can be scheduled during the LBD Orientation or by emailing coach Cherie at LBD@exertec.com.
